Q. How would you characterize your round today?
KEEGAN BRADLEY: It was great. I got off to a really funny start. Wasn't hitting good iron shots, and then settled in there and played really solid from then on in.
Q. What was it like playing with Adam Schefter?
KEEGAN BRADLEY: It was great. Just hearing his voice is so iconic with football and what I -- I'd turn on the TV hoping to hear Patriot news, and he's the guy. That was really fun. It was a thrill to meet him and have him out there.
Q. I know you said you've had a lot of cool things happen when it comes to throwing out the first pitch at Fenway or whatever it be. Where does Schefter calling you on your home course, where does that sit?
KEEGAN BRADLEY: It was cool. I was in getting stretched in the fitness trailer over here, and "Get Up" was on, and sure enough, there I am with Schefter. Schefter is talking about me. Sometimes that stuff is so cool, weird at the same time. Really great. He's a nice guy, and he does a great job. I hope he does more.
Q. How were the "USA" chants today compared to yesterday?
KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, they're great. I get them every week, and I appreciate it so much. It's a thrill, something I didn't expect. It's awesome.
Q. Rory spoke recently about the role of media in golf. As a seasoned professional veteran yourself, what do you feel the role of media, specifically, journalists, reporters, is in the game today?
KEEGAN BRADLEY: Well, I think we've got to do our best to give back to the media. Sometimes it's really hard for us when we have a bad finish or a bad tournament or lose a tournament. It's so fresh. You're signing your card and coming straight here. There's no break. Sometimes I know I can be a little upset and say things maybe I don't want to say. So it's an interesting dynamic.
Q. I wanted to ask you about the first five holes today. I was listening to Michael Breed on PGA TOUR Radio and he said you were all over the place on the first five holes, a little rocky start. What happened there?
KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, I hit a horrible drive on 2, made an unbelievable par, hit a great drive on 3, missed the green, got it up-and-down. Then on the next hole, I missed the green from the middle of the fairway and then from there I got those all up-and-down and then from there I played really solidly, hitting a lot of greens, a lot of fairways.
