Q. So a 68 today. I think you had seven birdies. Talk my through the round and how you were feeling out there?
KENNEDY PEDIGO: I felt pretty good most of the day. I just knew that if I got myself on the green -- I feel confident over my putter, so if I got myself on the green I could putt well and make some birdies.
Q. I think this is the first time you've made match play at the U.S. Women's Am. You've played in a few before.
KENNEDY PEDIGO: Yes.
Q. How does that feel? You're solo second. You're going to get the two seed and then onto match play. How has the first few days been, and how does it feel to be advancing?
KENNEDY PEDIGO: Yeah, I'm super excited. I love match play. I play a bunch when I'm at school and during the summer. I'm excited to play. I think it's a totally different mindset and way of playing compared to stroke play, so it'll be super fun.
Q. What's some of the highlights so far of the week just being here?
KENNEDY PEDIGO: Probably the people here are incredible. All the members are so welcoming and super nice, so that's been fun. The beach club is awesome, so that was fun. Yeah, it's just been a great and people are really nice up here so...
Q. What's the best part of the game out there today?
KENNEDY PEDIGO: Probably my putter. Whenever I got in trouble, I knew I could make a putt and then I didn't really -- it helps to not -- or when I'm putting well I feel like it takes pressure off some of my game.
Q. Any real long ones you made for birdie?
KENNEDY PEDIGO: Yeah, on 16 I think I made like a 50-footer for birdie, so I was kind of like, two two-putt and get out, but I made it, so...
