Q. Tough battle out there.
RACHEL HECK: Yeah.
Q. What do you take away from the week?
RACHEL HECK: Oh, my God, what an amazing weekend. Probably have a better perspective on it in a day or so, but so much fun to make it to the semifinals.
Q. Heading to school in a week or is. What positives are you taking from the whole summer you've had?
RACHEL HECK: Yeah, I actually don't head back for another month. We're on a quarter system so it's a little; later. I'm definitely ready to get back.
I miss team golf a lot. It's so much fun to have a team, but it's been nice to get some experience playing on the LPGA, and this experience is awesome.
So ready to start the season with my team.
Q. You and Jensen set a cool example of what it means to be a good role model and competitor out there. I know it was a grueling loss, but how much fun did you all have today?
RACHEL HECK: We had so much fun. Before the match we were talking about how much fun it was going to be. We're good friends, and I think we both know what -- like we both know what's important.
Obviously it stinks to lose, but we wanted to play good golf, wanted to have a close match, and we did and we had a lot of fun.
Hope everyone else could see that.
Q. Speaking of team golf, you now get to go to represent the U.S. in Wales in Curtis Cup. What's that mean to you?
RACHEL HECK: That's always been a dream. I've always wanted to play the Curtis Cup. Any chance to wear the red, white, and blue. Curtis Cup is pretty special.
Q. Obviously team golf, match play environment, are you looking to just getting back into match play in a little bit less than a month?
RACHEL HECK: Yeah, no, I'm super excited. Such a fun format and it's not too often you get to play it, so when I get to I'm really excited.
Q. Sorry for the replay. Just talk about the swing of emotions and how far 18 was, the putt.
RACHEL HECK: Short. Yeah, obviously that's not how you want it to go, but it happens. Everyone misses those putts, and it just happened at a bad time.
Q. How hard is it to put your head back together and get back at it so quick?
RACHEL HECK: Yeah, it's tough, but, I mean, I played a good playoff hole. She made the putt and I don't know how I missed, but it was a good roll.
Q. You seemed to have having a good time. How much fun is that just having that pure me-against-you competition?
RACHEL HECK: Oh, my God, it was so fun. I was just telling them going into it we knew we were going to have a good match. We were talking before about how we were going to have fun with it, we were going to make birdies, we were going to hit good shots.
During the match I hope people could see how much fun we were having. We're good friends and we know what's important.
