Q. Obviously come up a little short. That's got to be a little disappointing, I'm sure, when you played so well this week. Can you talk about this match today? It was a grind.
RIANNE MALIXI: It was totally a grind. I didn't really have my A game today. Right before the afternoon match I really had a bad acid reflux. So it was better throughout the match, but then golf wasn't nice to me today. Still I put up a big fight today.
Q. Was it from something you ate at lunch, do you think?
RIANNE MALIXI: No, I think it's just the nerves.
Q. Did you take something for it?
RIANNE MALIXI: Yeah, I did take some medicine for it.
Q. Neither one of you really could get your putters going in this match.
RIANNE MALIXI: None of us were making birdies at all.
Q. Was it just the grind of the week, maybe a little fatigue or was it just some of the tougher hole locations?
RIANNE MALIXI: No, quite a bit of both, yeah.
Q. What do you take from a week like this? You talked about you've been striving to win a big event. You get so close to the mountain top and you're just not quite over the hump. What do you learn from a week like this?
RIANNE MALIXI: I've been mentally stronger than before, so I think I've done a better job at that. I know what I'm really capable of. Even though I didn't really have my A game I still put up a big fight and I found I could still perform out there. So it was still a big win for me.
Q. It puts you on the national radar, college coaches out here watching. You still got a couple big events coming up. Canadian next week?
RIANNE MALIXI: Yes.
Q. Where is that?
RIANNE MALIXI: I forgot what course.
Q. Where is it? What city?
RIANNE MALIXI: Halifax.
Q. And then you got to come back across the country for the Women's Am and then you go home?
RIANNE MALIXI: I'm doing a bunch of campus visits right after U.S. Amateur.
Q. Where are you going to visit?
RIANNE MALIXI: I would rather keep it to myself.
Q. How many, what's the number?
RIANNE MALIXI: Six.
