Quick Quotes

Q. Could you talk about the week overall.

LETA LINDLEY: It was an amazing week. Came in here with really high hopes after last year and really wanted to hoist that trophy. But I played solid. I hit the ball great. I rolled it well. I just came up one shy again.

Q. What were your biggest takeaways?

LETA LINDLEY: I was courageous today. I hit it good. I hit my lines. I rolled it well. I just managed myself nicely, and if I keep plugging along and keep working hard, hopefully one of these days I'm going to hold the trophy.

Q. How are you going to think about preparing for next year?

LETA LINDLEY: Well, I heard Pittsburgh is hilly, so I'm going to be working on my legs and getting stronger and just continuing to do what I do. I don't know that I would do anything different. I just keep trying to put myself in situations, playing competitive reps because I think there's no substitutions, so I'll keep chasing whatever events I can play in at the senior level, and we'll see what happens next year.

Q. What's next for you? Do you know anything that's coming up on your calendar?

LETA LINDLEY: We just have a couple of small events as we're planting seeds for The Legends Tour to build some events in the future, so for me, this was the pinnacle. This is why I've been working hard. The rest of the season is just fun stuff, getting to see my friends, and a little bit of competition.

Q. Do you have any experience with Fox Chapel, next year's venue?

LETA LINDLEY: I do not, but I'm sure it'll be amazing. Looking forward to it.
