Q. I'm here with Retief Goosen. Great round today. You minimized the bogeys today.
RETIEF GOOSEN: Yeah, I'm very happy the way I finished. I really struggled today, this whole week. I hit the ball terrible off the tee, missed a lot of fairways. My putter kept me alive. Made a lot of up-and-downs and a lot of good par saves, although I missed some, too.
No, the way I played, I'm really happy with the way I finished. I couldn't have really done any better.
Q. You're coming off of a victory at Mitsubishi --
RETIEF GOOSEN: Yeah, the year has been going okay. You get a win any season, it's great. Yeah, the golf has been consistent but not really good enough to win again. Hopefully the next few weeks. We've got a couple big events still coming up, and hopefully find something and start hitting it a little better, a bit closer to the hole.
Q. Best finish in the U.S. Senior Open since 2021. You're fourth right now --
RETIEF GOOSEN: Yes, yes. Like I say, I struggled all week. Didn't hit it well. Today made a couple of nice putts. It would have been nice to make that one on the last. But it was a good week. It's a pity about the heat wave we had, and it's been terrible for the crowds. Nobody wanted to go outdoors. It's been a shame week, but hopefully next year is good.
Q. USGA event, obviously you've won two U.S. Opens. Did that get the juices flowing a little bit coming in here this week?
RETIEF GOOSEN: Yeah, always nice. You know you're going to get a great test of golf, and this week was a great test. I wish my driving was just a bit better and I didn't have to come out of the rough that many times. But overall great week, and hopefully next year...
