Q. Talk a little bit about the match, some of the key moments. You got to go all the way to 18.
ISABELLA DiLISIO: Yeah, it was a great match. Probably my toughest one and my closest one of the tournament.
I got 2-up pretty early. I was 2-up through four and then Aliea made three birdies in a row, so she was 1-up, I was 1-down. That was definitely a momentum shift in her favor and not so much mine.
But I hung in there. I tied it up on 11, made a really nice birdie. Just couldn't get my putts to drop. I was hitting it all right, but she was hitting everything very close and making most of her birdie putts. It's hard to compete when someone is playing like that.
But I held my own, I played well, and I can't complain. I've had such a fun run, and it was a great match.
Q. Seemed like there were a lot of birdie putts out there on both sides. Do you feel like you elevated each other's games out there?
ISABELLA DiLISIO: For sure. I think on a lot of holes she'd hit it to 10 feet and I would hit it about the same. We were always measuring to see who was going first. We were always kind of hitting it about the same distance away.
Yeah, I think when you see someone stick it, you're like, I've got to try to take dead aim and try and do the same thing, so definitely elevated each other's games.
Q. Today you played 40 plus holes, I think 41 was the total?
ISABELLA DiLISIO: Sounds right.
Q. Tell us about that mentally, physically. How do you fight through?
ISABELLA DiLISIO: That was one of the longest days of golf I think I've ever had. I think I was ready. I feel like I'm in pretty good shape, and I got a little tired by the end. I think it's impossible not to. Just trying to eat and drink out there and take some breaks when I could in between my rounds and with all the rain delays we had today, too. Yeah, it's hard. Playing 36 is hard, and then add a few more on there, it's tough.
But I think I did pretty well.
Q. Just talk a little bit about your round in general, to make it all the way to the semifinals this week.
ISABELLA DiLISIO: I'm thrilled. I was so excited just to make it to this tournament. I just turned 25 a couple months ago and I've been kind of marking this day on my calendar for a long time. I kind of lost my love of the game of golf by the end of college, and I needed a little time before I could get back into competitive golf. But I think I found it a few years ago, and now after this tournament, it was the most fun tournament I've ever played in. No doubt it was the most fun week I've ever had. I played really well, and I can't complain. It was awesome.
