Q. The last time this situation happened was two years ago and Stewart had a 7-up lead going to the next day, but Costanza made a run at him. How can you make a run at him?
EVAN BECK: Make birdies. I don't know. What did I make, two today? That's just not good enough. He didn't make any mistakes. The only bad shot he hit turned out to be eight feet on No. 8, made birdie there.
But yeah, he played great. There's nothing I could really do aside from play better.
Q. Was that a key hole, 8? You had a 12-footer there before he made his seven-footer and yours seemed to hang out to the right.
EVAN BECK: I don't know that it was a key hole. It just felt like he was in control the whole time. I was able to salvage one on 15, make a birdie there.
But yeah, outside of that, hit a nice one on -- I hit a couple good shots, I just needed to make more putts.
I'll try to do that tomorrow.
Q. How do you feel about your overall play today, because obviously you won a tight match this morning, too.
EVAN BECK: Yeah, today wasn't probably the best day that I've been here. What is it, Thursday?
Q. Yes.
EVAN BECK: Yeah, definitely not the best golf that I've played. But good enough to get to the finals. Hopefully we'll be better tomorrow.
Q. What might you do overnight to get ready for tomorrow's 7:00 a.m. start?
EVAN BECK: Sleep, go to bed early. Nothing. We've been getting up at 4:30, 5:00 every day, trying to get these holes in, and got 18 more hopefully.
