Q. Obviously coming into the day 5-down it's tough. You made a little run at him, though.
EVAN BECK: Yeah, he played perfect yesterday, didn't miss a shot. One of the best amateurs of all time. He's proven that many times.
Had a tough task today and just didn't have enough.
Q. You got close there, though. You made a little run at him, a little stretch there on the back nine. Could have got it to 2, and I guess 11 was the end of the momentum a little bit?
EVAN BECK: Yeah, missed a four-footer on 11, three-putted 14, so that sucked. You just can't give him any holes. He's too good for that. He's a top 10 amateur in the world.
Q. You've done a lot in the last 18 months, kind of emerged as a player since getting your status back. What did this week do for you personally and confidence-wise?
EVAN BECK: It's nice to make it to the finals. Sucks losing. I did it 15 years ago. Yeah, Sleepy Hollow was great. Membership was great. Everything was great about the tournament. Food was great, everything. Lovely week.
Q. Did you find something about your game that you didn't know about coming in?
EVAN BECK: No. No. Nothing. I feel like I'm a pretty good Mid-Am and have a decent game for a guy with a day job.
