Quick Quotes

Q. You shot a 2-under 70 today, which is tied for the low round of the championship so far. What did you find out there today?

RASMUS LIA: Yeah, it was a better day today, definitely. I holed a bunch of putts, at least some, a nice amount of birdies, and I played a bit more conservative from the tee, and that kind of helped. Good round.

Q. Yesterday you had a 10 on hole No. 6, today you birdied it. How about that turnaround?

RASMUS LIA: Yeah, that was nice. What is that, six-shot improvement?

Q. How does it feel to be a part of the first ever playing of this championship? Is it special to you?

RASMUS LIA: Yeah, very special. Amazing atmosphere. I cannot believe how big this tournament is and how great arranged it is.

Q. How rewarding is it to share the course with so many other inspiring athletes just like yourself?

RASMUS LIA: Yeah, it is. It's huge. Pinehurst is a great course and a great resort. I've watched a lot of TV from here, and it's great to be out here.

Q. How would you compare this experience to other championships that you've played in --

RASMUS LIA: Biggest I've played.

Q. How do you think this championship will help amplify the adaptive community's stories like yourself?

RASMUS LIA: I think it will make a huge difference. I mean, everyone here has got something to train for and to try to win it, and hopefully we'll inspire many more players.

Q. What's the plan for tomorrow to try to go capture the title?

RASMUS LIA: Yeah, I think I found a good strategy today, so I kind of hope to keep it the same tomorrow and post a low score.
