Q. How would you rate your first experience here at the Adaptive Open?
AMANDA CUNHA: Definitely 100 out of 10. It was a great experience, and I wouldn't have traded it for anything. The whole process of coming down to North Carolina, Pinehurst, was incredible.
Q. Was this your first time in Pinehurst?
AMANDA CUNHA: No, I played in the 2020 North-South Jr. amateur before I lost my vision, so I was Player of the Year at Oahu Junior Golf Association and I qualified to play.
Q. Talk me through your game this week. What did you like and what didn't you like about your play?
AMANDA CUNHA: The first two days I did not like my chipping. I feel as though I rushed a lot of my shots, and this morning I definitely practiced on the chipping green a lot more, and I took my time today making sure I at least got it to the hole, not past.
Q. Would you like to come back to this event? What do you think this event will do for the future of adaptive golf and the adaptive community in general?
AMANDA CUNHA: I definitely think this will bring attention to our community, adaptive golf, and having USGA host this event really puts us out there, and so I feel as though this tournament will definitely be something that I will look forward to every year, and I really hope that it's as special as this year.
