Q. You finished with back-to-back birdies. What's been different this week than the rest of the year?
MARIA FASSI: Well, the putts have gone in. But, no, I mean, I think I've just been a lot more patient and have really played with the game plan that we had kind of in mind on Wednesday. I've been very true to that. I haven't really steered away from it. I've made three bogeys this week. I can't remember the last time through 54 holes that I had only made three bogeys. So, yeah, I think just playing smarter and taking advantage whenever I can.
Q. Now, most all of your top finishes have come in the latter half of the season. So what is it about from July on that you like?
MARIA FASSI: Well, I don't like the West Coast, that's (laughing) the easiest answer. But, yeah, I think the golf course the second half of the year suit my game better, suit my eyes. This is one of my favorite tracks that we play every year. So I'm happy that I'm playing good and I have a chance at making something big happen tomorrow.
Q. Speaking of good things happen, you're playing with your friend Stacy Lewis next week. So should we put our money on Woo Pig Sooie next week?
MARIA FASSI: Absolutely. This is our third year doing it. We've done pretty good. I'm excited. I get to learn so much from her. I'm sure we're going to have a blast. I have two kids from my foundation that are going to be there, so that's going to be extra special as well. I'm sure we're just going to have a blast and play great golf.
