Q. When you woke up this morning did you think you had any chance to win this tournament?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Like I said yesterday, Linn's a solid player and a six-shot lead is tough to overcome. So I really just tried to come out and just give it my best shot.
Q. What would you say was your biggest challenge this week after that emotional win last Sunday?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Really just focused on getting rest the whole week. Didn't get any sleep Sunday night and then travel day Monday. So I was a little tired, but just tried to stay focused throughout.
Q. Now, when you have a major championship, do you view major championships differently now than you did before last Sunday?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: I try not to. At the end of the day it's just another golf tournament. I'm going out there to try to play my best. So, no.
Q. I know it's been really long two weeks and here you are again at the end in contention and everything kind of speaking the way it is, you've talked about kind of just keeping to your process, but what was this day like for you?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Yeah, I mean, I think just coming to this course after Pebble, too. I mean, just a few more birdie opportunities. I think I just really took advantage of that. Just out to have some fun with Jay and looking forward to next week off. But, no, it's a great course, it's in really great shape. So, yeah, just really excited for a good week.
Q. What were some of the highlights of your final round today?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Just made a lot of putts. Birdie on 11. Then obviously birdies on the last two holes is always a great way to end the week.
Q. Overall, being able to come out here and play just as well as you did last week, totally kind of different circumstances, different kind of courses. But what does that say? I mean, I've asked you this I feel like the last couple of days, but what does it really mean to you to be able to see this and no U.S. Open hangover, it seems like from last week?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Yeah, my game's just felt like it's in a really good spot. Just haven't really put four solid rounds together until, obviously, last week and this week. But, no, everything feels really good. Just hoping to carry the momentum.
Q. What will next week look like for you?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: A lot of sleep. Seeing a couple of friends to celebrate. Just repacking the bags for Europe.
Q. Is it home in Los Angeles, are you thinking about going back to Hawaii, or is it just Los Angeles?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Yeah, I'll try to get back like the end of the year, like through New Year's. But it's just a tough travel day all the way to Hawaii. So I go back to L.A. in off weeks.
Q. Looking ahead to another couple of majors, what does it mean -- it's all about getting hot as the majors come. Do you feel as you if you can continue carrying that momentum after a week like this?
ALLISEN CORPUZ: Honestly, I missed the cut at both Evian and British last year. So have a lot of room for improvement. But, no, the game feels really solid so just try to keep doing the same thing.
