Q. All right, here with Hye-Jin Choi after the first round of the Dana Open; our clubhouse leader right now. How was the round today?
HYE-JIN CHOI: It was really great day. I mean, I start a little weird, like my shot was not really great, so I try just save the -- make the par. Try to like until 7 and then I make the birdie on 8, so I think, oh, I can do very better.
So I try back nine, too, but I feel really good, yeah. I play really well, yeah.
Q. Yeah, the front nine, which was your back nine today.
HYE-JIN CHOI: Yeah.
Q. Front nine played really differently. What was different about the front nine?
HYE-JIN CHOI: I mean, my shot was not really great. I mean, I'm not really comfortable, so I try just how can I do swing or like hitting something.
So I found couple still playing, so, yeah, I just tried them.
Q. So you were more comfortable by the turn?
HYE-JIN CHOI: Yeah.
Q. Awesome. You played this course, this is your third year here.
HYE-JIN CHOI: Yeah.
Q. What do you like about this course? You seem to play pretty well when you're here.
HYE-JIN CHOI: I like here, but this course, I feel not really easy this course. I mean, if I play really well score getting really higher, but not really great condition. It's really tough course because green is a little bit hilly and then, yeah, rough is really thick.
So I thought it's really important for like condition or something. Today was good. Yeah, doing better, yeah.
Q. Today was great. After starting off on the front nine with seven straight; on the back nine you really picked it up with I think five birdies. What was the difference on the back nine for you then after the front nine?
HYE-JIN CHOI: I thought putting was better than front nine. I mean, I play yesterday but I felt not really great putting. Like I hit it too hard yesterday, so I try more stroke soft and more like tempo. Focusing more tempo. It was work, so it's good.
Q. You played the front in the pro-am yesterday?
HYE-JIN CHOI: Yeah.
Q. 1 through 9?
HYE-JIN CHOI: Yeah.
