Q. I'm here with Sei Young Kim after her first round at the Ford Championship. 5-under, 67 in your first round. Talk about your round and what you saw out there on the course.
SEI YOUNG KIM: It's back to Arizona, it's a little cold weather in the morning, so little tight my body feeling.
But I'm trying to practice swings a lot before I hitting, and, yeah, played quite solid today. I like Arizona because of the light air, so ball is a little further than where I play.
So, yeah, pretty solid round. I play with Ariya and Alison. We play good each other, yeah.
Q. And how do you adjust to these conditions when you come on site? You played last week at Seri?
SEI YOUNG KIM: No, I didn't play.
Q. So how do you adjust to those conditions?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Especially this course, greens are pretty flat, yeah, so we can attack the pin and then, yeah, it's wide open golf course.
Yeah, I like to play the wide open, yeah, golf course. Yeah, it's feel like more free. Yeah, it's fun to play.
Q. And was that kind of your game plan going into today, to take advantage as much as you could?
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, par-5, it's reachable, four par-5s, so it's -- yeah, but I couldn't make the three par-5, so it's a little -- I need to adjustment my putting after interview.
So if I better the play on par-5, I think I better play. So, yeah, it's good chance to next three days I'm very looking forward next three days.
Q. And can you talk a little bit more about the par-5 scoring and how maybe people don't understand how important it is to take advantage of the par-5s as well when you see some of those opportunities.
SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, if you keep the fairway it's easy to reachable because both further. And where the pin is, yeah, it's important.
Yeah, after hit a tee shot keep the fairway and then you hit little short of the green, anywhere pin you can make the birdie.
So, it's kind of challenging how many you can make the birdie. That's a big deal this course I think.
