Q. All right, I'm here with Hira after her third round at the Ford Championship. How great does it feel to see a 7-under 65 on your scorecard today?
HIRA NAVEED: Yeah, feels great. Good to get out early. Wind is supposed to pick up in the afternoon. Had a super early tee time, so good to get in in under four hours.
Yeah, it was a good day.
Q. It's your lowest score on the LPGA so far. Bested your first round score; that was also your best. How does that feel?
HIRA NAVEED: Yeah, it feels great. You always want to play well when you're a rookie on the LPGA. It's only my second tournament, so there is still a lot of tournaments to play. But, yeah, really a confidence booster for sure.
Q. And your first cut made as well, as you just mentioned. How have you enjoyed the week?
HIRA NAVEED: Yeah, it's been great. Last week was tough. I missed out by one shot. It's a learning experience, and I take it on the chin and move on.
Coming into this week just wanted to put up some good scores. The course is gettable. So, yeah. That's what I wanted to do. Good to accomplish it today.
Q. Talk about your journey to the LPGA Tour.
HIRA NAVEED: Yeah, I played on the Epson the past couple years. A lot of the girls out here I played in college and junior golf or amateur golf with.
Yeah, played on the Epson and I think it's great experience. It really preps you for the LPGA. So, yeah.
Q. And you qualified via Q-Series, correct?
HIRA NAVEED: Yeah, Q-Series in December.
Q. How was that experience?
HIRA NAVEED: Yeah, it was great. I also shot a 7-under in the final round for Q-Series to qualify. Yeah, there is good golf out there; just got to go get it.
Q. Adding on to the several Aussies out here on tour, what's to like to see people like Hannah Green at the top of the leaderboard?
HIRA NAVEED: It's amazing. I grew up playing golf with her so she's done really well for herself. Yeah, it's good to get up there and compete with her if I can. So, yeah.
Q. Do you have any relationships or friendships with all of them?
HIRA NAVEED: Yeah, I've know them since I was a kid. Being on Epson and even on the LPGA that connection isn't quite there yet, but now that I'm here hopefully we can build on it.
Q. And one last question. You have plenty of time today to get ready for tomorrow, but any game plan changes heading into tomorrow?
HIRA NAVEED: No, not really. Just keep doing what I'm doing, plugging away. Just enjoy tomorrow and see what happens.
