Q. Great week out here, way to finish. Evaluate your week.
LEXI THOMPSON: Yeah, it was overall coming off last week being definitely an improvement. A lot of positives to take from the week. Just overall a special week. A lot of fans were out here, a lot of the little kids were out here, so just great to see.
Going to take the positives from it and run. Let my hand rest some and take the next few weeks off and work on my game.
Q. As we kind of ramp up into the major season, how good does it feel to get a finish like this under your belt?
LEXI THOMPSON: It feels great. I've been working on my game super hard and results haven't really shown, so I'm going to continue to work hard because there is definitely a lot more improvement still to be improved on.
But a lot of positives to take from this week, especially going into a major. But I have two weeks and I know what I need to work on.
Q. What did you learn today from your game to be able to pull that round out with the conditions as horrible as they were? You were playing some great golf.
LEXI THOMPSON: Thanks. Yeah, it was crazy conditions, but it was almost just like it gets to where it's mental when it comes to this kind of conditions. You just have to stay positive with it and know that pars are a good score. If you have a good number, take advantage of it; try to shoot for the pin and make some birdies.
But, yeah, you have to be patient. You can't let the weather get to you because you're going to hit bad shots because there will be water on the ball or your face, so it's going to happen. You just have to stay in the moment. That's all I just try to do out there.
