Q. Solid round today. Five birdies, two bogeys. Take me through the day today.
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: I started well with two birdies. That was kind of a nice start. Played pretty well all day. Had a little bump on 7. Then my putter was a little -- all day, but overall pretty good golf.
Q. After the two bogeys, you turned it around, three birdies on the back. How did you stay motivated after that?
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: Well, I tried for a very long time not to get angry, and then my caddie was like, just let it out, so I did that after 8.
Then I kind of tried to reset from there.
Q. It gets trickier in the afternoon; how do you manage the conditions as they change in the afternoon?
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: Yeah, you have to stay patient out there. There is birdie chances out there. They're going to come to you if you just stay patient. Yeah, as long as you don't force any stupid mistakes out there, then yeah, the birdies will be there.
Q. Going into tomorrow, a couple strokes back. But knowing this course, you can make a lot of birdies. What's the game plan tomorrow? Is it being aggressive?
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: No, I mean, I don't know how the weather is going to be tomorrow, but I'm sure the greens will still be firm in the afternoon. I think it's the same as today; you've got to stay patient and let the birdies come to you.
I'm hoping to make some more putts tomorrow, so I'm going to go and work on that now.
Q. You've been a part of the LPGA since 2018. With the 75th anniversary in mind, what are the biggest changes that you've seen in the league since you've been playing?
NANNA KOERSTZ MADSEN: The setup, the fans, the tournaments getting more recognized, bigger. The purses have obviously gone up. I mean, I enjoy it right now. There's so many changes. I don't know too much about before I came out, but I'm pretty sure the purses were really the same for a long time, and you can definitely see it's increasing now. People pay more attention to golf, so that's really cool to see.
