Q. Ariya Jutanugarn after a second straight round of 5-under par 66 in the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. You had another solid day today with eagles, two of them, on the scorecard at 7 and 18. Let's start with the eagle at 7. Take us through that and how you managed to find it.
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: On No. 7 I hit perfect 3-wood and I have like 2-iron, two degree. I have like maybe 20 yard to the pin and I pitch it, I make it, so...
Q. And No. 18?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Hit really good 3-wood. Have 8-iron to the green. Pulled left, had really long putt, maybe like 40 feet, and make the putt.
Q. You mentioned yesterday that you have been really wanting to work on your 3-wood. That was a point of emphasis earlier in the week. Would you say that you figured it out and you feel really confident with that club right now?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: I would say much better compared to last week. You know, when I got to this week I have no expectation at all because how I play last week. I feel I just want to making sure I have feeling like better with my 3-wood, with my iron, and everything.
So when you have no expectation it's kind of you go out and you have so much fun, play with your partner and with your caddie. So just go out and have fun.
Q. You're looking to join Nelly as the only three-time winners on tour this season. That would be quite an accomplishment. Only two shots back of the lead with 18 holes to play. How comfortable do you feel in that position and do you feel like it's a good spot considering this course surrenders a lot of birdies?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Yeah, of course I know I been in a really good spot. Just never think that far yet, you know, because like I just feel like just want to go out and keep working on my stuff. I want to feel better. That's the main thing.
If I can end up with like a good result, that would be great. But if not, I'm really proud of myself this week.
Q. Your sister today shot 5-under par. Nice to see her name near the top of the leaderboard I would imagine. What's it like when you're out there in an abbreviated tournament, a little shorter tournament, like 54 holes. What's it like it see her name climb up the leaderboard as well?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: You know, last week we both had really tough week, so after last week we really down. We hit like everywhere, we miss a lot.
This week we really cheering for each other. I know what she feel like and definitely she know what I feel like after last week. So to be able to see her play so well, like in the last two days just make me feel so good. I know she overcome from last week.
Q. Does that push you a little bit kind of?
ARIYA JUTANUGARN: Not really. You know, I just do my own thing and rooting for her of course and wishing the best.
