Q. All right, a fun day to end this weekend here in Walmart. Overall thoughts on the week?
DANIELLE KANG: I'm actually very proud of the work that I've done this week. I left a lot out there, but I was mentally in a really great place.
Really just I love spending time here with the Akers and they just make it feel like home. I'm just happy to be here.
Q. It's really fun I want to say to go score on this type of course here. You looked really comfortable on the front nine all week. Just overall what did you think of Pinnacle Country Club and just being able to stay in contention all these days?
DANIELLE KANG: I've played well here a few times. This place is a -- this is where I first debuted as a pro. Pinnacle Country Club is a really good golf course. I know that the scores are lower because the greens are soft and the greens roll really well out here, so you have to be able to read them pretty well.
I think they changed the bunkers so I made no up and downs out of bunkers this year. Just so much sand.
Other than that, the golf course is always in really great condition to score. You still have to be paying attention. If you don't play well you're not going to play well, right? It's easy yet very difficult.
Q. What does it mean to be playing this well going into the last tournaments we have?
DANIELLE KANG: To be honest, I know I haven't played as well as expected I guess; however, the season is not over yet. I'm putting in some really good work towards the end and hopefully just going to keep playing well, and I think this is the start.
