Q. Okay, here with Jenny Shin coming off her first round of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G. Can you just walk me through that last putt there? You had such a good read and it looked like it was almost in. Just walk me through that.
JENNY SHIN: Yeah, 15-footer, left-to-right, downhill. I read it pretty good. I think there were some like debris from the bunker; maybe that slowed it down.
But I thought I had it. I was looking forward to the walk in, but ball was just right hanging on the hole, so...
Q. It happens. You still had a really good round. 5-under, up near the top of the leaderboard. I know you've played well here in the past. What is it you like about this course, and particularly what was working well today?
JENNY SHIN: I really like bent grass, so I showed some of that today. Had some really good putts coming in.
Requires precision, and I was actually struggling with my shots a little bit during the pro-am, so I wasn't really looking forward to a really, you know, terrific round.
But I somehow got it figured out and hit some really good shots on the front nine. Had four birdies I think, so that helped a lot.
Q. Yeah. Speaking of precision, I hear this is a course you really got to hit those greens and fairways. Is that how you feel about that?
JENNY SHIN: Yeah, the greens are slightly softer than previous years, so if you are able to go for the pins here, because they're pretty tucked today, and if you can go for them, it'll stop, gives you pretty good feedback immediately.
You see some good shots coming in and you feel pretty confident, so you'll end up likely shooting a good score.
Q. Yeah. I know you have two top 10 finishes here I believe in the past. Do you look forward to coming to this event, because it suits your game it seems?
JENNY SHIN: Yeah, and I love that it's a three-day event. This is my third week in a row, so a three-day event is pretty nice. The crowd is really nice here. I think I really enjoy that. I feed off it quite a lot.
Yeah, I've had pretty decent finishes. So I'm hoping for a good finish this week.
Q. Last question from me: As you look for like the next two days, only two days, what's sort of been trending in your game lately? I talked with you last week in Portland, so what's sort of trending in your game that you're looking to take advantage out here?
JENNY SHIN: Probably putting. I had really good putts in Portland like on Thursday and Friday, so I hope I can kind of keep that up.
Had really good putts today. Was reading the greens really well so hopefully I can keep reading them correctly the next two days.
