Q. Lydia, what a solid round today. Got off to a quick start. Two birdies in those first five holes but then had to wait until the closing stretch to add a few more. How would you describe the round overall?
LYDIA KO: I waited for you to come and make a couple birdies. But, yeah, I played solid. Obviously today was a little different with the wind direction not being as much off the west. So some holes that were playing downwind, like No. 12, were playing into.
I feel like the course played differently. Especially when it's a three-day event, you're trying to play aggressive but not trying to make any careless mistakes. I was able to get off with a bogey-free weekend, which was nice.
And always good to come back here and draw back on some of my memories from when I won. Yeah, overall I think it was a solid week.
Q. Yeah, you've consistently played well here and throughout this entire season. Eight Top 10s in your last 11 starts. Looks like you're poised to add another to that growing list. Still a little bit of golf left to be played. How do you go about maintaining this high level of play just week in, week out?
LYDIA KO: You know, that's my goal coming into every season, is to try and be more in contention, be a bit more consistent. I think that's most important. Wins, they will happen. I can't control it. But me trusting my process, what I'm doing with my team I think is super important. I feel like the time we put in all together, put our heads in it, I think has worked.
So it's been a great season so far, and I'm hoping to tend well with my last four events.
