Q. Hae Ran, you held the lead to start the day. Struggled a little bit early in the round. How were you able to bounce back and get your round back on track?
HAE RAN RYU: First nine hole I felt so bad, and it's first three holes my iron shot is going too far and always my ball is hit over the pin and I can't try at the birdie.
But after the nine hole I focus my iron distance and I will try to more (indiscernible) my swing. I made so many birdie and, yeah, I got it. (Laughter.)
Q. You're already the frontrunner for Rookie of the Year having played so consistent all season long. What does it mean to be a first-time winner on the LPGA Tour?
HAE RAN RYU: Yeah, before the season I want to get a rookie of the year, but now I got winner on the LPGA and I want to get Rookie of the Year, and so now so meaningful.
Q. You're well on your way to reaching you all your goals this season. Congratulations on a hard-fought win today.
HAE RAN RYU: Thank you so much. Every American fans and my Korean fans. I think so many Korean fans (indiscernible) now and always cheer for me and always I thankful, yeah.
