Q. All right, here with Carlota after the first round. 7-under today to be on the top of the leaderboard. Talk about how it went out there?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, I mean, overall very solid. I hit a lot of greens and I think I hit every fairway today, so it was a very good round for me.
3-under first nine holes and then 4-under the back nine. Made some really good putts that I wasn't making this season so far so just happy with how I played and especially how I putted.
Q. Was it close putts or far away?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: So my putting, I made like a six-, seven-footer on 12.
Really long one on 13 that was probably 15, 18 yards. That was a big one.
18 two putted so like a three-footer.
No. 2, par-5 was like 10-, 12-footer.
And then, yeah, coming in, seven, par-5, 10-footer and then nine probably like 25.
So made some really good putts today.
Q. And there has been a lot of low numbers today already. What is it about this course that is our birdieable seems like?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, I think it's playing -- always plays quite soft. I think you can go right at it, at the pin, which I think it's nice for a week or so.
The scores are always low. I think it's, yeah, lots of short irons, lots of wedges, and then if you can make a few putts you can go low.
Q. And it's been a busy year for you, busy summer. Talk about how nice it is to see a round like this, especially after all the busyness?
CARLOTA CIGANDA: Yeah, it has been a busy year and busy summer for sure with Olympics, Solheim, all the tournaments in the summer.
But, yeah, I enjoy playing. I love competing, and I think it's nice to come here and play here. I think Arkansas is a great community. They support the LPGA and I think we are very lucky to have Walmart as a sponsor.
