Quick Quotes

Q. All right here with Jeeno Thitikul. Overall a bogey-free day is always good one for the books. How much did that help you today?

JEENO THITIKUL: Yeah, I mean, on the good things, it's bogey-free day, so I trying to forget on that, but like in another ways I think I did have couple shots that kind of like not really, you know, give myself a lot of chance to get to -- to putt for birdies.

I had a long putt quite a lot. That's why I have no bogey, but still cannot making that much as yesterday.

Q. To have two birdies in your last three holes, what was that like for you?

JEENO THITIKUL: Yeah, finishing on 9, I know 8, it's like not really easy hole for the tee shot. Having birdie on par-5, 7, it's nice, reachable.

And then finally hit it close on 9. I think it's the closest that I hit it, and then just making birdies. And I'm really happy with that. You know, it's kind of windy so we kind of like miscalculated a little bit.

Q. I know the conditions have been a little bit different as opposed to the past years you've been here and your win in 2022. How much do you draw on the year that you won when you're making some of those tougher shots?

JEENO THITIKUL: Well, to be honest, when I putt here this past two days and also last year, I have no idea why can I shoot 10-under. I mean, it's not easy to putt. I mean, like also my group, I think it's the first day we just like missing left, missing right miss, missing short.

And then I have no idea why I can shoot 10-under on the second day. That's really help me a lot to get that trophy.

Q. For you, what does a round like this -- I know you were saying you would've liked more putts to go in -- but to still be towards the top the leaderboard going into the final day, what will you draw on?

JEENO THITIKUL: To be honest on my practice day on this course, I thought like, oh, like making the cut is good enough for me. I don't know why, but I just like not really have that much confident with my putter.

To be standing here in contention, it's already mean a lot to me. I don't know what's tomorrow going to bring on, but like what I can do as an athlete is making much birdie as I can.

Q. As a past champion of this event, what's it like returning to this community, to Arkansas?

JEENO THITIKUL: Yeah, I always love coming back here. I mean, this community, it's like not that big, not that huge. I mean, the people-wise, but they are lovely and they a warm welcome for us to coming every year to Arkansas. All the neighbors on the beautiful house around, they all welcome and they have a sign like, oh, they love LPGA, which is I think it's a really biggest support for us. We really appreciate and we are looking forward to coming here every year.
