Q. Here with Lucy Li after the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. Just talk about this week and what it was like for you.
LUCY LI: Yeah, I mean, it's a great week. I had honestly no clue that this was going to happen. I did not think I was in it at all. I mean, after two three-putts in the first four holes I was just like, I don't know.
And then some magic came and I shot 60. Even though I didn't win, just this is the greatest thing.
Q. Yeah, just talk about the emotions of today. Like you say, you shot your lowest round ever out here. Just talk about the whole day.
LUCY LI: Yeah, like I said, I started with a birdie and then I was hitting it good. Had a couple three putts; just wasn't feeling it. I made a couple like 6 foot birdie putts and that gave me some confidence.
On 8 I hit the fairway and was behind the tree a little. Just suited my eye perfectly. Just hit a little draw with the 5-iron that. That pin back there is really tough.
And then I didn't see it go in, but heard a roar by the green. I holed out on 9 yesterday for eagle, too. Just really crazy.
Q. And you had three eagles today. I don't know if anyone told you, but not many people have done that in one round. So was that record stuff going through your mind?
LUCY LI: No, honestly, I was just trying to hit one shot at a time. I think after I birdied 10, 11, I was kind of like, okay, I'm actually in the tournament.
And so I just wanted to make sure to keep hitting one shot at a time, yeah.
Q. And then this finish, what does it give you moving forward? It's later in the season. How nice is it to see some rounds like this later in the season?
LUCY LI: Yeah, I mean, it's really great for my confidence. I started the year off really well and then I really, really struggled in the middle of the season. That was really tough.
Then I've been seeing some good form recently, so just to put it together today and shoot 60, like I was thinking -- I shot 65 in Boston the last day and that was my best round of year. I was like, man, I haven't really shot that many low rounds in the. I've been playing well but haven't put together any I low rounds.
So to shoot 60 with two bogeys is crazy.
Q. Yes, it was. You're such a young player. You were paired up with veteran Jasmine. What is it like to be in this kind of playoff circumstance being so young and so early in your career?
LUCY LI: Yeah, I mean, it's great to be in contention. And I mean, Jasmine played so great. She eagled 18 and eagled it again in the playoff. I feel like I really couldn't done much.
It's always better to lose to someone winning than it is to lose, so I'm really happy for her and I'm really feeling good about the final stretch of the year.
