Q. Klara, what a wonderful day out here the first round of Arkansas. How are you feeling as you finished up with that spectacular round?
KLARA SPILKOVA: Feeling good. Pretty somehow stable, so it was good. It wasn't so emotional. It was pretty like solid. I holed out on No. 1, so that was exciting.
We got to the green and we couldn't see the ball and so -- because no one was clapping or anything -- so actually I went over the green and I couldn't see the ball and was like, Oh, maybe it's in the hole, and it was in the hole.
So that was nice.
Q. What's it been like preparing for this tournament? What have you been working on that you think shined today in the first round?
KLARA SPILKOVA: I mean, you know, I been working on everything for long, long time. I don't think there is like something special for this one.
I just didn't really want to put any pressure on myself, so I'm just going with the flow today. We'll see what happens next two days. I just really enjoyed today staying in the moment, and it was just like a really enjoyable round.
Q. When is the last time you felt like you were having as much fun as you did in any other round during the round?
KLARA SPILKOVA: I try to have fun all the time, but depends how you play that day. So, I mean, we had a lot of fun last week in Portland the last round. Played really, really solid. Just had a couple mistakes, so that was a really enjoyable round, too. I just kind of went with the same like feeling somehow.
So, yeah. It was good.
Q. What will you take away from this round as we head into Saturday tomorrow?
KLARA SPILKOVA: I think the main thing for me is just like as I said, just to not put any pressure on myself, so just see what happens. The game is there. It's obvious putting is pretty good. Pretty good. Was good today.
So, yeah, just that: stay happy and stay in the moment and just we'll see what happens, you know.
Q. A lot of the players love coming back to this Arkansas community. What's it like to come back to one of the most enjoyable spots on tour?
KLARA SPILKOVA: Yeah, well, it's my first time here.
Q. Oh, my gosh.
KLARA SPILKOVA: Honestly, this is my third year on the tour but first year here, so, yeah, I actually just play one practice round on Tuesday and then I had though chance to play like last two days.
I was like, Okay, what's that going to be like? The fairways are much firmer so there was like a little different golf course, but I could just handle it pretty good, you know.
So I was quite confident with the practice round on Tuesday.
