Quick Quotes

Q. First off, a great final round.

YUKA SASO: Thank you.

Q. You had two eagles. How awesome is that?

YUKA SASO: I did, yeah.

Q. Let's start with the one No. 7. Take us through how you got an eagle on No. 7.

YUKA SASO: So I had probably like 230 to the flag; help wind. Had 5-wood probably like 50 feet or 60 feet putt, left to right. Pretty long putt. It was pretty good, and went in. Maybe lucky.

On 18 I got to like 210, 215 to the flag, into. I had a 5-wood again, and I actually -- after I hit I actually said, Good, so I hit a pretty good shot and had two eagles today. Yeah.

Q. How far for eagle was the putt on 18?

YUKA SASO: It was like four feet or something.

Q. Oh, dang.

YUKA SASO: Yeah.

Q. That's a great shot.

YUKA SASO: Yeah, yeah, it was.

Q. How much did you enjoy the week here and how pleased are you with your effort?

YUKA SASO: Yeah, I had one month off and it's good to be back. The crowd is amazing. Really thankful that I was able to come back.

Yeah, and I played some good golf, and just feels good to be back.

Q. Did you do anything fun or interesting with your month off?

YUKA SASO: Nothing really. We have to do two weeks quarantine back home and I had to do some stuff with my visa, so I wasn't really able to do anything.

Yeah, I had a good rest and some practice, too.

Q. Despite a month off, you have three top fives in your last six starts since your win at the U.S. Women's Open, so you're continuing to play great golf. How good of a spot do you feel your game is in right now?

YUKA SASO: Right now I feel good in my game, but like I always say, I think I'm still in a learning stage. You know, even this week I've learned so much.

Yeah, I think that what -- no, that makes me push to play good golf, and that's what I'm doing. I'm just really thankful.

Q. Did you learn anything about the difference between a four-day event and a three-day event?

YUKA SASO: Yeah, we actually play a lot of three-day event in Japan. It feels short, but at the same time, I'm still at the golf course for a week. Doesn't really change anything of how I play or how -- strategy of the golf course.

It's just have fun and make the cut.
