Quick Quotes

Q. All right, here with Jess Korda after her second round here in Arkansas at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. Really took advantage of the par-5s today with two eagles on them. What were you doing to take advantage of those and to score that?

JESSICA KORDA: I mean, I don't have a whole a lot of room to be able to hit driver here. Everything gets pretty tight. On the par-5s I feel like worst case scenario I'm still able to layup, so I always try to hit it in to like the tightest spot and I'm able to take advantage of it that way.

The greens are much softer than they have been, so being able to stop a 7-wood pretty quickly and 4-iron pretty quickly is really helpful.

Q. So you didn't hit driver on those two?

JESSICA KORDA: No, I did. Just like...

Q. Yeah, got you. Okay. You were just telling me, but tell us about this new driver that you have and how it's working for you.

JESSICA KORDA: I don't know the name of it. It's like the TSI -- would you be able to look that up?

Q. Yeah. I don't need to know the name of it.

JESSICA KORDA: It's the new Titleist driver.

Q. Just tell me how it's different or new for you?

JESSICA KORDA: Yeah, no, the new driver from Titleist is awesome. Took the spin a little bit down so I get a little bit more roll out, because I've been carrying it far, just not really rolling it out as much as I would like to kind of see on a lot of the golf courses we have been playing.

So honestly just put it in on Wednesday and took it out I think first time on the golf course really was Friday. I like it so far.

Q. Only one more day left to play. How do you take advantage of tomorrow and get another low score?

JESSICA KORDA: Just try to make putts out here. Everyone hits it to the same spots. There is not a lot of advantage to being long. I have a lot of irons and low woods off the tees. It's just trying to get close to the pins and make as many putts as I can.

Q. How are the greens playing, reading?

JESSICA KORDA: They are -- in the mornings now it's a lot nicer. Yesterday in the afternoon it was really tough because they did get a bit bumpy.

They're a little soft on the top, which I'm not necessarily used to seeing out here, but the golf course is in phenomenal shape. This morning when we played the greens were perfect.

So you're going to be tapping down marks here and there because the top is a bit soft. Other than that, they're fast and just really, really nice.
