Q. Here with Linnea Strom after her final round at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. Great last round to round out the tournament. What are you feeling about your round right now, where your game is at?
LINNEA STROM: I mean, I just went in today and just tried to do my best every shot. Tried to not focus on anything else and just do what I could do, and then at the end of the day I told myself if I'm going to do that, then I'm going to be happy either way.
So I'm very happy. I feel like I stayed in the present very well today, so happy with how I handle myself. Got a little bit nervous towards the end after that eagle on 14.
Which is fun. It's always fun to be in that position. I'm obviously very happy that I holed the last birdie putt on 18. That felt good.
Q. Great way to end it. Were you aware where you were on the leaderboard while you were playing?
LINNEA STROM: I mean, I tried not to look at it, but I happened to see -- when we were walking from 14 to 15, I happened to see that 14-under was in a good position at that time.
But then I know there is a few good birdie holes coming in with the tee moved up on 14 and downwind on 18, so I think I just tried to not focus on it and just try to make as many birdies as I could and see what happens.
Q. With this result, what do you think that does for the rest of the season?
LINNEA STROM: I mean, I told myself now going into the Asia stretch to just do as good as I can, and my goal is obviously to be able to play my way into the CME. I'm very happy with this week. I think it's going to help me a lot going into the rest of the season with Asia coming up.
Yeah, feels good.
Q. Been a lot of fans here. You signed a lot of autographs just now. What can you say about this event and how different it is?
LINNEA STROM: This is one of my favorite events. I have some good memories here from my rookie year as well. So it's just super fun to see so many kids out here. They have great hospitality. They have so many fun activities outside the ropes for the kids and all the families.
So it's just very fun to see that.
