Quick Quotes

Q. 5-under, eight birdies today, can you talk about how you're finding the course?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: I think we got lucky. We played very early this morning, and the wind doesn't pick up yet.

So there's a lot of chance to hit it close and had some birdie putts, especially the first four holes. I just role those four birdies in and they just started to say, keep going, Jasmine. It was fun in the front nine.

Then the back nine, the wind picked up and it gets a little more tough on the par 3s.

Q. People have said that the back nine has been tougher than the front. Would you say that's about accurate and how would you compare the two?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: I feel like in general, I think the back nine might be a little longer. You've got the long par 4 on 10. You've got a long par 4 on 10 but it's not so bad and then once the wind pick it up, the par 3 become 193. Yeah, it's not easy, those back nine today.

Q. And then you're back in Scotland, back in links after your amazing finish at AIG Women's Open last year. How are you feeling about the week?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: I'm happy to be back here at Scotland. A lot of good memories here, and a couple people just like, "Oh, Jasmine always play well here." I'm like, you know, I don't want to expect anything. Just have fun here. Like I said we got lucky with no wind this morning and being able to score 5-under, it's totally a good day for me.
