Quick Quotes

Q. A couple of birdies on the front nine. Take me through how you feel after day one?

MI JUNG HUR: I started with a birdie on the first hole. That was really good. Then made another three birdies on the front nine and there's a lot of chances on the back nine, but I missed a lot of putts. But I made a lot of good par putts, too. So I'm satisfied with my round today.

Q. What has it been like getting used to this brand new golf course? Everyone else is getting used to, it too, but what do you like most about it after this first day?

MI JUNG HUR: The course shape, really good. It looks really good. I think they take care really well. The conditions are very good. Better than what I felt because I heard it was brand new golf course which is -- I was worried about the condition, but they were perfect. So it was nice to play on the course.

Q. What's it been like getting ready for links-style golf again and what's it like to return to a tournament where you've won?

MI JUNG HUR: There's only one thing: Just keep it low. If it's helping, you can keep it low, too, but especially in the hurting, you have to keep it low for sure. Because I had, what hole was it, No. 14, 15, the par 5, 15. I had 86 metres to the flag and my ball was way too high. It came back 20 metres short, which wasn't that good. So you have to keep it low.

Q. What's it like returning to the Women's Scottish Open, when you get to come back to this event, do you think of what happened in 2019?

MI JUNG HUR: I was expecting more rainy, like '19. But the weather looks really good, but a little bit of windy. But the rest of the weekend, it looks good weather. I will just take care about the wind.

Q. And keep the ball low?

MI JUNG HUR: Yes.
