Q. What a great round on top of yesterday?
KELSEY MaCDONALD: Yeah, I took a lot from my game yesterday into today. I had a difficult hole on 10 which was disappointing but I knew I deserved to be under par today so it was great to finish with an eagle on 15 and birdie on 17, so delighted with that.
Q. It's windy, but how was it out there?
KELSEY MaCDONALD: Yeah, it was very tough. Because it's colder this morning, so the wind really is affecting. I mean, it was windy yesterday afternoon but temperature was a lot warmer. So there's a huge effect today.
Q. And being from Scotland, people assume you like playing in the wind; do you?
KELSEY MaCDONALD: I think when the elements are so tough, you have to grind, it can eliminate half the field straightaway just have to grind out. You never know what's going to happen. I do like when it's tougher.
Q. Do you feel like you've brought momentum into this year, and being high up on the leaderboard in your home Open?
KELSEY MaCDONALD: I think you take each week as it comes, but being at home, there's always that support even if they might not be here on course, but you've got those texts coming in. So it's just a great feeling playing at home.
