Quick Quotes

Jasmine Suwannapura:

Q. 4-under, can you just talk about how it was out there on the links?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: Well, I think today we got lucky that this morning's tee time is not too windy, so I feel like it's not look a grinding day, so I'll just stay patient, be in the fairway and hitting on the green, hopefully make some putts. Did I make the putts today. I putted pretty good. The speed was good so I'm happy about today.

Q. So this is your sixth appearance in this event. How is it being back in Scotland and what's one of your favourite things about this event?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: I like it in Scotland because it brings back in good memories in 2019. Just the vibe on the Tour, everybody here in Scotland, I just feel good. I feel like I come back here, like I'm back in hometown, something like that.

Q. Even last year, you finished in the top 20. What do you think about links golf suits your game or your game suits links golf?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: Yeah, I think for me, a lot of people said that I tend to play better or good golf when the weather is bad or, you know, it's a hard condition. So I feel like that's kind of like a challenge for me.

And I kind of September the challenge and you know, doing my best on every shot and see the result come out.

So doesn't really think too much about, oh, it's too windy or anything. Just it's Scotland. You know, I kind of expect it to be windy and raining every day. So kind of have to expect that.

Q. Even would you say today's conditions were what you expected for Scotland? It wasn't super windy. How would you describe them?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: So when it's not super windy today, it's a lot of opportunity out there for everyone. But there's a couple pin today that's a little tricky. I'm kind of impress but a little like I said, even though the pin position was a little tricky today, and some of the holes, my speed was really good. So it's kind of like an easy tap-in for par for me. So it's kind of like very smooth day for me today.

Q. And just lastly, it's the second year Trust Golf have been title sponsor and there's 12 Thai players in the field. How does it field to have so many Thai connections around you this week? Is it nice, and have you spoken to many of the girls about it?

JASMINE SUWANNAPURA: Well, as you know, like all the 12 girls are professional golfer playing in Thailand. A lot of them are younger than me but I kind of know them. So it's good to see that, you know, the Trust Golf actually bring Thai golfer from Thailand who kind of like give them a chance, a whole dream to come here and play PGA TOUR and co-sanctioned with LET. I think that it's showing that they give people a chance, an opportunity as Thai people, yeah.
