Q. Grounded out, up-and-down day but 3-under 69. Walk me through your last three holes there.
ANDREA LEE: Yeah, the wind definitely picked up the last few holes. I think it was blowing like 15. Sometimes I felt like 20 out there. Just try to put it in the fairway, hit the greens. Had a really good par save on 17 and par save on 16 and managed to make a 25-footer on the last hole for birdie. Just happy with the way that I grinded it out.
Q. What happened on 17?
ANDREA LEE: I kind of got a little greedy on the tee shot. Wind was blowing right-to-left. It's a dogleg left, kind of short par 4, if you get it over those bunkers. I tried to hit it left, pulled it into the thick stuff over there. Hit a 6-iron, thought it was going to go right-to-left off the lie and it ended up in the fairway on No. 12.
So I had about a 55-yard shot to the green, everything was sloping away from me and the wind was with me. The wedge shot barely went over on to the green. I had about like a 25-footer that. Was probably the best I could have done from there and I made that putt. It was, yeah, it was wild. Felt like eagle.
Q. The momentum is with you, birdieing the last hole, and really all season, we keep talking to you and seeing you around. Going into the weekend, are you going to putt the pedal down more than the first two days?
ANDREA LEE: I'm going to try to cope doing what I've been doing. The putter has been great. I think I had six birdies today and five birdies yesterday so 11 is not so bad for the first two days, so yeah, just hopefully keep making some putts and just putting myself in the right positions to attack some of these pins out here and be aggressive on the par 5s. But just playing smart overall.
