Quick Quotes

Q. 14-under overall, 5-under today. This week's been a bit of a dream, isn't it?

LEONIE HARM: Thank you very much. I really enjoyed today's round. Got a bit windier, so it actually was a lot more difficult than the previous two rounds and I'm very, very proud of myself that I still got a low score on my scorecard to sign off. I just really enjoy playing links golf and that was another good test today.

Q. We had a joke about you're not getting any bogeys and you got one today. But just the one and the rest was pretty much perfect?

LEONIE HARM: I always say a tournament without a three-putt is not a tournament played by me; got it have it.

It was a bit of a rough start. I had some par saves on the front nine and couldn't really quite hit it as close as I was used to the previous days, and then yeah, I had that bogey on three, which kind of put me back a little bit.

But luckily I had the ability to turn it around with good saves on 7 and 8 and a long birdie putt on 9. Yeah, had a great finish, 4-under on the last five, so I'm really happy about that.

Q. Your play in Scotland, you did very well at Carnoustie and here. Different courses but similar conditions. What is it about links golf that you think works for you?

LEONIE HARM: Well, links golf, obviously you have to think a little extra when you plan your shots, and that's quite handy, and obviously Alex, my caddie, has been fantastic this week.

My coach is also from Scotland and is the coach I've been working with for 14 years. So hitting low shots with little reception in the wind is kind of something I've done once or twice more about my life, so I'm glad I could apply this.

Q. Your caddie, I've been told off-camera that you need someone to keep you calm out there rather than someone to get you more excited and rein you in.

LEONIE HARM: Yeah, he's amazing about that. Doesn't matter if you hit the best shot or the worst shot of the day; the tone doesn't change, and he's the same stable rock.

I can't do this whole thing like where let's get a birdie now. I'm like, I'm trying, this is me trying. And he knows that whatever I do was my best attempt, and he finds a confident piece in him and that why it works really well with him.
