Q. Fired off a solid round, well inside the top 10, how proud are you of that effort?
ALISON LEE: I feel really proud of myself. I feel good. You know, I only had one top 10 this year, so feels good to get one under my belt. You know, definitely happy with where I finished.
Looking back at the week, I feel like I made quite a few big mistakes, and I really I feel like it could have put me in the event and put me in contention a little bit more. You know, shooting 6-under today, I can't complain about that.
Q. What were some of your highlights?
ALISON LEE: Honestly I just played pretty consistent. I wouldn't say I had too many up-and-downs. Obviously I started with a bogey but you know, I feel like I've been playing really solid and my game has been really good and I've been putting well, so didn't really bother me too much. Just did my best to stay positive and stay in it and try to make as many birdies as I can out here because it's possible to make a lot of birdies.
Q. How much did this prepare you for the challenge of next week?
ALISON LEE: Definitely prepared me. I'm not used to links golf at all. I heard next week is a pretty linksy golf course. I feel like we got really lucky this week with the weather and the wind. So didn't quite play at the difficulty level I feel like it might play next week. But it puts me in a good groove I feel like. Definitely gives me confidence going into next week.
Q. This kind of momentum as you move forward, what will that give you as you play the year's final major?
ALISON LEE: Just a lot more confidence. I feel like all the majors I've played pretty decent. I've just had a few holes here and there where I just kind of blow up, so hopefully I can eliminate those for next week and try to play the best I can.
