Q. Lovely way to finish, tell me about your round out there?
MAJA STARK: I had a lot of fun. It's playing pretty tough, a lot of long irons in and getting pretty windy out there. Lots of fun and my putting was pretty decent. A couple 6-, 7-footers and gained some confidence for sure. I think that's needed on a course like this in these conditions.
We expected it to be awful and cold but it's really not. The sun was out most of the round.
Q. What have you done the past few days to conquer this course?
MAJA STARK: I've been doing a lot of putting drills, especially the shorter putts, and yeah, just getting better at visualising, especially when it's windy. I have trouble with the short putts because I don't trust it. You get a gust and feel like your body is moving. Just getting comfortable putting with wind was a big thing, getting confidence in that and confidence with the long game, too, and not making any silly mistakes. We have had very few holes where you can choose to play the bunker to play but we avoided that at all costs today and it really paid off because we didn't make any big, silly mistakes.
Q. Tomorrow you'll be going off in the afternoon, so you'll be expecting a bit more wind. Will you do anything to combat that?
MAJA STARK: Go to the range a bit and keep working on shaping shots and still feeling comfortable. It's getting dry so you can't hit divots anymore like the first couple days.
