Q. A round of 2-under to start your week here in Scotland. Obviously very long day but how was it out there?
BRONTË LAW: Honestly, probably like the worst conditions I've ever played in. Then to be sent out, and then play still with a flooded golf course, I mean, yeah, it's not ideal. I get, obviously, they have a tournament that they want to complete but there has to be a level of fairness, as well.
So yeah, a little disappointed to see that. You know, this morning, the weather we played in was really rough. But you know, you get what you are dealt. Yeah, tried to stay patient and just get on with it. Very long day.
Q. In terms of your own game, obviously birdies on the scorecard. Just how are you playing out there?
BRONTË LAW: Yeah, I think I did the simple stuff right. You know, took chances when I had them. Saved some really good par saves, which you know, you have to do that when it's that sort of weather. I did hit a lot of greens which helped but when you miss them, you have to be ready to make up-and-down.
Yeah, all in all, just a day of grinding out there and taking the chances when they came.
Q. Had you been looking forward to these two weeks in Scotland, even though you might get some weather?
BRONTË LAW: Yeah, to me, I knew there's always challenges that might face us at some point, and I'm willing to take it on. I'll never back down from a fight.
