Q. Lauren, round 66-under and currently leading the golf tournament. Tell me about your day?
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, I think it's just what I've been doing all week, staying super patient and trying to guess the wind as good as I can and make good putts.
Q. You've been in such good form this year. What do you think is behind the change in your fortunes?
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, I think a lot of it is putting. I started to get some confidence in the Asian Swing, and since then I've been able to keep it going. I'm starting to hit the ball extremely well, and yeah, I'm just starting to feel really good about my game and myself and trying to keep it going.
Q. You always knew that you had the ability, but I guess it's having the mental side to that that really brings results out on the golf course because you're on your own a lot of time with your caddie. Mental strength is key for good golf, isn't?
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, for sure, I was starting to get confidence with the putter but starting to get confidence with myself and my game and just going and being me and relaxed is all I need to do.
Q. How have you managed to keep momentum going away from the course?
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, I think I've just been able to keep my feels even in the off-weeks. I've actually kind of compressed myself that I've been able to keep it going. Because it's not easy when you've got to go home.
I've just been trying to rest at home and just get my body feeling good so when I come here, I feel good and I'm able to keep everything going.
Q. They always say links is the ultimate test and it's been everything here this week, wind, rain, sun, a little bit of sun. Have you currently done it all? You're leading the tournament. So how proud are you to do it here in these conditions on this course?
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, I mean, when it's this windy, I got pretty lucky I didn't have to play in any of the rain on Thursday. But I mean, it's been extremely windy, and just the fact that I've been able to kind of just trust my feels and what I think the wind is going to do with the golf ball and just kind of keep it going and not try to guide it too much and just let the wind do what it needs to do and don't try to fight it.
Q. Two things on your mind now, obviously closing out the win tomorrow and we have a big competition coming up soon, Solheim Cup.
LAUREN COUGHLIN: Yeah, I'm extremely excited for it. I live an hour and ten minutes from it. It's my home state, so I couldn't be more excited.
