Q. 4-under, no bogeys, how are you feeling?
AYAKA FURUE: I feel both shots and my putts were really good. Especially I made like six metres' putt, so that was really like life-saving for me.
Q. You won here two years ago with an amazing 10-under round. Was that going through your mind while you were playing today, and were they happy memories?
AYAKA FURUE: Not that much.
Q. Did it remind you of winning and having such a good run, or were you just trying to channel that?
AYAKA FURUE: If I could make a birdie on the ninth hole, like that would change my mind but yeah, that was good for me.
Q. And obviously you're going into the last major of the year as a major winner. How important was it for you to play well this week on links golf going into next week?
AYAKA FURUE: I feel very proud that I could do like four rounds, full rounds this week on the links course. It was really helpful for me to do next week, as well. So that was really good for me.
Q. And lastly, what is it about Scotland that you like so much and playing in links golf?
AYAKA FURUE: I feel I'm pretty good at wind. So yeah, I feel that's one of my points that I can be confident in a links course.
