Q. Talk me through the week and obviously another windy day out there today.
CHARLEY HULL: Yeah, I played pretty solid all week. Probably today wasn't quite the day I was looking for. I kind of got off to a slow start, but I was pretty happy with how I hit it the first three rounds. It was just a bit tricky today. I felt like the greens were slow into the wind and I couldn't get my pace.
Q. Lovely finish on 18. What was that like?
CHARLEY HULL: It was good, good momentum going into next week, a hundred per cent.
Q. And you said this week that you've been learning from this links, preparing for next week. How much do you think it's helped?
CHARLEY HULL: It's meant to be quite windy next week at the British Open. So I think the wind is definitely a good practise this week.
So it wasn't quite as windy. But I said to my caddie, I said there's a hole today where I had to hit a normal shot, and I almost forgot how to hit a normal shot because I've been used to hitting punch shots all week.
I'm happy and looking forward to going into next week.
Q. And what are you going to prep over the next few days?
CHARLEY HULL: Fine tuning and going to just like work on that and just relax. I've got my boyfriend up here. So we'll literally have a few date nights and stuff and just chill.
Q. Finally just how much are you looking forward to playing at the iconic St Andrews?
CHARLEY HULL: I think it's amazing. Like, I think it's the Home of Golf and it has a very special place in my heart. So I'm really looking forward to the challenge as well.
