Q. Here with Ashleigh Buhai, two birdies and a hole bunch of pars. Maybe not the most exciting round, but you'll take it?
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: Yeah, not exciting, but very steady. I was very happy with the way I played. I had many chances that just slipped by the hole, so I did well to stay patient.
And then, yeah, finally made two coming in on the last few holes.
Q. Made two on 14 and 15. Tell us what happened there.
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: 14 was playing one of the longer holes toot. I hit driver 6-iron into about nine feet and holed the putt for birdie.
Then 15 is a reachable par-5. Wind was down off the left. I hit driver and only 6-iron in. Hit it in the right track. Was a bit of a bail-out, but made a good up and down for birdie.
Q. How did you handle all the hills? It's quite a walk out there.
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: Yeah, it's not easy. Luckily we get a ride every now and then. But it's the same for everybody. You just got kind of pace yourself and just go slowly I think is the key to it.
Q. You were the other runner-up here last year. I know it was a different golf course. Is it still a good feeling to come back to a place where you've had success in a tournament?
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: Yeah, of course. Last year was fantastic. I came from behind and didn't expect to get into a playoff, and took it and good memories. I think I really like the greens here. They are very similar. I love quick greens and they're very pure, so I think that's why I felt comfortable coming back and putting well today.
Q. What's the game plan for tomorrow besides putting your feet up and getting some rest?
ASHLEIGH BUHAI: Same. Hopefully I can hole a few more putts. I felt maybe I played a bit tentative, but it was tricky. The wind was tricky. It swirled a lot, and then the greens really firmed up on the back particularly, so it was difficult to get it close, even with wedges in your hand.
The greens should be a bit more receptive tomorrow morning and maybe I can knock it a bit closer.
