Q. Here with Jenny Shin after round one. Got off to an early start. Good start on the front nine. What was going really well in your game this morning?
JENNY SHIN: I hit the fairways, hit the greens, hit it pretty close. Had a ton of birdie opportunities inside ten feet. Hit a few of them on the front nine.
I think I shot 3-under, so, yeah, I think I made my three birdie opportunities and then had pretty doable pars coming in.
Q. How did you find the course today? I know the green speed is a little high. Was that a challenge for you getting your ball close to the pin? Doesn't sound like it. How are you managing that challenge?
JENNY SHIN: I honestly think it's similar to last week. The only difference is it's poana and poana tends to roll out a little bit more than bent grass.
And they haven't gotten rain here, so it's dry. Considering like how like soft it is, the greens are rolling pretty nicely.
But I don't know. I think it's similar to most the weeks.
Q. What sort of are you looking to repeat about your round today going into tomorrow? The later start might be even drier.
JENNY SHIN: You know, I had a few wedges and short clubs coming in. Hit them pretty close. I hope I can replicate that tomorrow.
