Q. Maja Stark, I've caught up you with you now after a tremendous performance. This is your first time playing in America on the LPGA Tour having got that win in Ireland. Did you expect to be out here quite so fast? Obviously a great LET career.
MAYA STARK: Yeah, I did not expect to get here that quickly. I thought I was going to have to qualify and all stuff like that.
I was ready for anything. Didn't really have any expectations, and then just won that one and now I'll just see what happens.
Q. I think there is always a big discussion about players that go college versus players that turn pro quickly. How much did college help you with playing out here on the LPGA?
MAYA STARK: I think it really helped just to give me those few extra years to mature a bit more, see what it's like out here. The courses are a bit different. It's usually firmer, faster greens, and it was really nice to get to play on courses like that before.
Then obviously people do well even that haven't gone to college, so I feel like it's just what you feel in your gut for all the players that are kind of in between.
Q. Already a win under your belt. How does that change your goals and where you want to be at the end of this year?
MAYA STARK: I haven't even set up any goals. I haven't had the time to do that.
But I just want to play my best out there every time. I'm always prepared for a win, but I don't put that pressure on me like, oh, I won one, now I have to win this many more.
I just feel like, yeah, try my best and always aiming for the win at least.
Q. It seems like we're entering in another Golden Age of Swedish golf with and you Grant. Is that how you feel as a player inside that bubble?
MAYA STARK: Yeah, but I think it's funny. It's just so normal for us because we've grown up with each other. We obviously had a lot of great amateur golfers like Julia Engstrom, Frida Kinhult, Beatrice Wallin. Like it just feels so normal that people -- that other Swedes are winning stuff.
So, yeah, haven't really thought about it that much.
