Q. Here with Caroline Inglis after her second round at the AmazingCre Portland Classic. Let's talk about the highlight of the day first, the hole in one.
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah.
Q. Just take me through what you were thinking before the hole, club you used, that kind of stuff.
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah, I think it was like -- honestly, I don't remember the distance, 142 or something.
Q. 146, something like that.
CAROLINE INGLIS: In the front it was like 135, but I was look, okay, I think it's just like a normal 8-iron.
I like hit it kind of like not very good, like it was like thin. I was like, okay, it'll bounce up. That's fine. It took a really big first bounce and just like went in.
I was so shocked like that it actually happened at my home course on a hole that I played so many times.
I was like, oh, my God. Like in a tournament. Because I've had -- this is my sixth one, but only ever had one other in a tournament but it was in college.
It was just so surprising. It was fun.
Q. I think I was reading that this is your first as a pro, right?
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah.
Q. So does it being at your home course and your first to do it, does it feel different at all from any you've had in the past?
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah, it was way better. And there were so many people. Like so many of my family, friends, and members out here watching that it was like such a loud roar. It was really fun.
Q. Yeah.
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah.
Q. That's amazing. Obviously probably that's the highlight. Take us through a little bit of the rest of your round. What was going well, what wasn't.
CAROLINE INGLIS: It was like -- I honestly just didn't hit the ball very good today. I put myself in some really bad positions and just like grinded things out.
I made such a good par on in number -- what is it, tournament...
Q. 9?
CAROLINE INGLIS: 9, yes.
Q. Your last hole.
CAROLINE INGLIS: I made such a good up and down. But like I'm proud of how I like just -- I was like, this is what I have today. I'm not hitting it great. Just going to work with it.
It was just nice to have the hole in one there to kind of like save the round.
But it was kind of hard to rein it in. Like after the hole in one I was like, all right, we need to regroup and calm down.
Yeah, it was fine.
Q. Good. Going into tomorrow, heading into the weekend, what are you looking to take advantage of for the rest of the weekend?
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah, I'm going to go to the range, practice a little bit, try and figure out just like what was going on with my irons today, and hopefully just keep doing what I'm doing and like being smart and making putts. (Plane interference.)
