Q. Okay, here with Hannah Green after her third round at the AmazingCre Portland Classic. Take us through that front nine. You had a lot of birdies out there. What did you do to get off to such a hot start?
HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I made a good putt on the third hole. Probably like a 25-footer. I remember in 2019 a very similar putt to the same pin, so I kind of knew which way it broke.
But all of us just played really well on the front nine. I think that's the scoring nine as we have two reachable par-5s and a couple of short holes where you have wedges in.
So, yeah, got off to a great start and just wanted to hold one on the back nine. Gave myself a couple opportunities but just couldn't capitalize and hole the putt.
Unfortunately made a 3-putt on 17, so still really pleased with the round and where I am.
Q. That must be a good sign, doing something you've done before when you won. Do you think back a lot to 2019 playing out here?
HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I do try to, because a lot of things that went my way and went well obviously to win, so I think just making sure I don't get too ahead of myself but remember what I have achieved at this golf course.
Q. You said I think already, but does playing with players also playing well, Ayaka, you two were battling out there, does that help motivate you, inspire you out there?
HANNAH GREEN: I think so. I feel like as well because it's Saturday, it's Moving Day, I feel like there has been a few good rounds today, so just wanting to make sure we're not getting too far behind.
It's a very bunched leaderboard, so I think tomorrow will be interesting to see whoever come on top. I think whoever does win in the end is going to have to shoot a low score. Otherwise, yeah, could easily be a many-people playoff.
Q. Columbia Edgewater here, very familiar with the course, what have you learned over the past two days to help you take advantage of Moving Day?
HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I feel like last time we were here in 2020, come the weekend the greens got really firm and baked out. Even in 2019 when I played, Thursday, Friday was completely different scoring to the weekend.
So couple shots that I hit out there I was so surprised with the way I had to (indiscernible - applause) clubs relative to where the ball finished.
So still getting used to that and then almost forgetting about previous years is quite hard. I was pretty fortunate I had a lot of good clubs in today, so hopefully can be like that tomorrow.
Q. Not in the lead but near the top going into tomorrow. Does that change your mentality? Make you more aggressive? More conservative?
HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I think you can be aggressive at this golf course but can also go the wrong way. So just picking your moments where you feel comfortable enough to do so.
Yeah, I kind of like that I'm not going to be playing in the last group, so hopefully I can shoot a low one.
I think, yeah, 6- or 7-under is going to be needed. That's what I'm expecting with how these conditions have been.
