Q. Here with Daniela Darquea after round three of the AmazingCre Portland Classic. First I want to hear about that awesome chip in eagle on 9. Now was the tee shot and what club did you use when you chipped it in?
DANIELA DARQUEA: I hit a pretty good shot from the tee. I was in the middle of the fairway. I had 127 downwind. I knew that green was a little harder than the rest of the course. Obviously playing downwind. I picked a pitching wedge and I guess went in.
Q. What was your reaction?
DANIELA DARQUEA: Excited. I mean, yeah. I mean, I was not expecting it. It happened, so I was happy about it.
Q. Awesome. I see you had a pretty good round today. Now you're sitting near the top. How did you prepare for today? I know you weren't in the lead going into today, but how do you prepare for Moving Day just to take advantage of that day?
DANIELA DARQUEA: I knew it was going to be a little bit windier today. I knew I had to stay patient and I know there are some birdies out there. I know that obviously if you do a good job on the par-5s it's going to really help. I don't know, I just stayed in the moment. Just did the same thing I've been doing.
Q. I see you had four birdies -- three birdies and an eagle. Are there a lot of birdie opportunities out there? I know you had a lot of pars, too. How important is finding those birdies?
DANIELA DARQUEA: I think today was a lot easier because obviously I was not making as many mistakes as I did on the first two rounds. My scorecard first two rounds are a little bit up and down.
Q. Colorful, yeah.
DANIELA DARQUEA: But obviously today I was a little bit more conservative on some shots and I still plotted really good today, so that really helps when trying to make birdies.
Q. Going into tomorrow, you going to keep that strategy, playing conservative, or since you're a few strokes behind try and get aggressive?
DANIELA DARQUEA: Obviously trying to make as many birdies as I can. Obviously going to play aggressive, as I've been playing. However, there are two or three shots out here on this course you just have to be responsible and just play the ball (indiscernible).
Q. Coming from the Epson Tour, how amazing is it to just be near the top at an LPGA event like this and how is it different? How does it feel different, I guess?
DANIELA DARQUEA: It feels good. It feels good to be out here regardless of where I'm standing going into the last round. I guess just I'm excited to compete. I'm excited to play. I really wanted to be back here on the LPGA, so this is really helping me gain my confidence back and knowing that what I did, the decisions I made, they're correct.
