Q. Here with Lilia Vu after her third round at the AmazingCre Portland Classic. I saw you got off to a little bit of a rocky start. What were some of the challenges out there for you on the front nine, and how did you turn it around?
LILIA VU: Just off the tee, hitting fairways. I mean, this course demands a lot off the tee, and I just wasn't feeling good. My back has been hurting. I'm actually going to go see the physio after this.
Just trying to stay patient with my back and then also not get too frantic when I'm not hitting fairways.
Q. I was looking at your golf stats, and I believe that was your first time holding a lead or co-lead in a tournament to start the round. I'm wondering if it felt any different out there for you and what you've learned for tomorrow where you'll also be in the lead group.
LILIA VU: I think at the beginning I was just kind of -- I told you yesterday that I don't really look at the scores, but you're right there in the leading group, so you can't help but look. Then the back nine I was just like, I'm just going to have fun, my caddie and I, just play our game like how we usually do.
Q. So tomorrow being in the lead group again, you're just looking to have a good time, or does it change the mentality at all?
LILIA VU: No, not really. I kind of know where my game is at, so yeah, I'm just going to go out there and have a good time and let the golf do what it will do.
Q. Do you anticipate looking at the leaderboard tomorrow, and does that help motivate you to say, oh, I need a birdie?
LILIA VU: I think at the end of the day, I try to birdie every single hole, and if I just kind of keep it like a one-track mind thing, then I'll be okay.
Q. How important are birdies out here on this course? I know people have been having really low rounds, so how are people taking advantage of those birdie opportunities?
LILIA VU: I think the advantage is off the tee. If you get in the fairway, you set yourself a good approach shot, you'll have a good chance at birdie most of the time.
Q. Speaking of your back injury, I don't want to get too much into it, but I know you're going to go to the physio. Are you worried about that at all or just trying to manage it for the time being and keeping a strong mindset to help you through that?
LILIA VU: A little worried, but I think I can manage it. My back has been bothering me here and there, so I'm sure we'll figure something out.
