Q. All right, here with Caroline Inglis, our local member here at Columbia Edgewater. Really good round for you today. How familiar are you with your course and just how great of a round did you have today?
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah, it was really fun to like -- I mean, every year it's always fun coming back here and having all my friends and family watching.
This year is kind of weird because the course is playing like it does in like January because it's so wet, so it's just like aim at the flags and the ball is spinning back with like 7-iron and stuff like that.
So it's just a little bit different, but, yeah, it was nice to make a few putts today.
Q. I saw a lot of Caroline like big heads out there today.
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah.
Q. Lots of good crowds. How much energy and motivation does that give you when you come play here?
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah, my friend Jessica made like cutout heads. It's great. I mean, yeah, it's nice to have people cheering and clapping and seeing like familiar faces and stuff like that.
One of the members' daughters made me like the Taylor Swift bracelets and gave them to me after the round, so it's just really cool to have.
Q. That's awesome. Take me through your round today, maybe some of the highlight birdies that stood out for you today.
CAROLINE INGLIS: I made -- I think I made like four in a row on 7 -- I always get them confused -- 16, 17, 18, and then 1.
So that was pretty cool, you know, to make a bunch in a row.
Q. Where did the birdies come from? Are they on the greens? Are they on the approach shot? What's the best way to make a birdie out here?
CAROLINE INGLIS: I think just hitting it close because you can be so aggressive right now because the greens are so receptive.
Q. As it dries out, is it maybe going to be even easier for you as someone who plays this course a lot in the summer?
CAROLINE INGLIS: I don't think it's going to dry out that much. The course has been really soft all summer, but I feel like I'm kind of familiar with the course in all conditions, so like whatever happens.
Q. Yeah, and speaking of that, how exciting does it make you every year to come here and see your name up there on the leaderboard? How much confidence does it give you? I know last year we talked a lot.
CAROLINE INGLIS: Yeah, it's great. I mean, this year I got off to a good start and then I had an injury in the middle of the year, and so like coming back from that has been pretty difficult.
So it's nice to like play on the course I'm familiar with and like gain a little bit of confidence making birdies.
